Event Information:

The purpose of this workshop is to better understand the market demand for a potential software tool that could be used to perform qualification of AM machines and processes to produce parts for gas turbine engines. ASTRO will discuss their recent program to develop a Common AM Qualification Template for Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) including a demonstration of the tool that was developed in Microsoft Access. Gas turbine engine OEM representatives will be present to describe their needs and interest in having a common process that part producers can use to become qualified suppliers of AM parts. ASTRO will be assessing interest within the supplier community for the current tool as well as a potential future version that would include Performance Qualification (PQ) and have an improved front-end user interface.
